Costs / Fees
The clinic requires full payment prior to cycle initiation as this is a non-insured procedure. In the event of cycle cancellation, fees will apply based on services received up to time of cancellation. We regret that we are unable to offer payment plans. The cost of IVF does not include medications.
Costs of IVF Treatment
Registration fee
This covers the costs of providing initial information, maintaining the waiting list and entering data. This is a once only, non-refundable charge.
Registration fee - remote setup for patients cared for at other clinics in Canada. This fee covers the costs of providing initial information, maintaining the waiting list and entering data. In addition, this fee covers physician telephone consultations, nursing instruction and expenses related to setting up the IVF cycle. This is a once only, non-refundable charge. |

Basic cost of IVF treatment
This includes pretreatment evaluation, consultation, organization of treatment, provision of all information, monitoring of ovulation during treatment, surgical and anaesthetic fees, laboratory fees and all overhead charges.
Embryo cryopreservation
Includes the first year of storage. Since most patients will have embryos to cryopreserve this fee must be paid at time of set up. If not required the fee will be refunded promptly upon completion of treatment.

Refunds
Under most circumstances, partial refunds are given if treatment cannot be completed. Fees are charged based on administrative and treatment costs incurred prior to cancellation. Patients that undergo egg retrieval are not eligible for a refund.

You are responsible for any additional costs incurred, such as travel and accommodation costs. Please note that fees are subject to change without notice and a 2% per month interest fee will be charged on all overdue accounts. |
ACCEPTANCE/CANCELLATION CHARGES RELATED TO IVF CYCLES
IVF is an uninsured procedure and therefore all expenses related to this treatment are the responsibility of the patients undergoing this therapy. If a cycle of IVF has to be cancelled for any reason the fees charged will be prorated to reflect where in the cycle the treatment was stopped.
