Female Factor Infertility

Approximately forty percent of infertility is caused by problems related to the female partner. Fifty percent of the time it is related to fallopian tube damage or obstruction and in fifty percent it is related to problems with ovulation. Less common causes of female infertility include cervical factor infertility or the presence of uterine fibroids and polyps.
