General Infertility

Infertility affects 8-15% of Canadian couples. It is defined as failure to achieve conception following one year of unprotected intercourse. Infertility can be caused by either male factors, female factors, or combined male and female problems. In 15-20% of couples no cause for infertility is found and this is referred to as unexplained infertility.

Referral

Patients are accepted for treatment by physician referral only. Letters of referral may be faxed to (403) 284-9293. The usual wait for consultation for general infertility is approximately three to six months.
