Dr. Joseph O'KeaneDr. O'Keane completed his medical school training at the National University of Ireland in 1980. He completed his fellowship training in general obstetrics and gynecology in 1987 at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He subsequently received fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology at the University of British Columbia. He served as Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Memorial University from 1988-1990. He joined the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Dalhousie University in 1990 and became Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Dalhousie University in 1995. He joined the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Calgary in 1996. He is currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Calgary. He has served as Residency Program Director at the University of Calgary from 1998 - present. He has been a Royal College examiner for obstetrics and gynecology from 1998 to present and is a member of the Royal College Nucleus Exam Committee in Obstetrics and Gynecology. His main interests are in vitro fertilization and obstetrical outcome of advanced reproductive techniques.
