RFP Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy accredited by the Alberta College of Pharmacy located within the Regional Fertility Program (RFP) clinic. Complete fertility pharmacy services are provided to patients at competitive rates. The pharmacy services compliment the multidisciplinary team environment in place at the clinic. Our goal is to make sure our patients have all the information and supplies needed to be successful in using the medication(s) prescribed. The Pharmacy has developed a series of instructional videos designed to teach patients of the pharmacy how to self-inject or administer their fertility medications. This video has been developed to orient patients to the Pharmacy Services available at the Regional Fertility Program. If you have any questions, please discuss them with the pharmacists.
The Pharmacy accepts the following for disposal:
Disposals can only be made Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays, during regular Pharmacy hours of 7:45 am to 3 pm. Please see a pharmacy staff member and they will direct you through the disposal process.
We will not accept any cardboard, plastic, paper or bags for disposal. Please recycle these products with your home or local municipal recycling programs.
All our pharmacists are experienced in many areas of pharmacy practice with specific knowledge in reproductive medicine and fertility treatments. Consultations can take place in person at the Pharmacy or by telephone. The pharmacist can be reached by telephone or in person while at the clinic.
Prescriptions may be picked up from the pharmacy directly.

The licensee is required to provide, on the request of a patient, the name and practice permit number of any regulated member who provides a pharmacy service to the patient or who engages in the practice of pharmacy with respect to a patient.
Unused prescription or non-prescription medication cannot be returned for refund. According to the Alberta College of Pharmacy (Standard 5.1) – “The pharmacist shall not accept the return for use or re-use of any portion of any drug or non-prescription medication.”
As professionals, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are challenged and expected to abide by a higher standard of conduct and follow a Code of Ethics as defined by the Alberta College of Pharmacy.
