Currently, patients can only be accepted for treatment through a referral from a Canadian practitioner or nurse practitioner. A booking clerk will call you to schedule your appointment approximately one week after receiving the referral. To get the most of your time with the RFP specialist, you will complete necessary forms.
The purpose of your initial appointment is for your provider to gain a comprehensive understanding of your medical history and anyone else who will be involved in your care, if applicable. Once they have a clear picture of your concerns and specific circumstances, they can recommend and schedule diagnostic procedures to identify the root cause of your difficulty conceiving. During your first appointment, you can ask any questions you may have about reproductive health and potential treatment options.
